About Taree Secondhand Goods
Great stuff, fair prices, right here in Taree.

Taree Secondhand Goods (formerly The Cheapy Shop) is a locally run secondhand furniture store on the corner of Beeton Parade and Crescent Avenue, Taree. We stock quality pre-loved furniture, tested secondhand white goods, mattresses, homewares, and a rotating mix of antiques, collectables and estate clearance finds — with new stock arriving every week, so there's always something worth the trip.
Need something delivered, or a hand clearing out furniture you no longer want? Our removals service covers pickup, delivery and general removals across Taree, Wingham, Old Bar, Harrington and Forster-Tuncurry — full details on our Removals page.
Drop in Monday to Saturday and start your treasure hunt.
Our Story
Taree Secondhand Goods has been trading since 2005, when it first opened under TLC, and has grown and expanded in the more than 20 years since. Owner Cliff "Cliffy" Naylor started the shop after years of watching quality furniture head to the tip while struggling to find quality, affordable furniture that wasn't flat-pack junk for himself.
What began as one man's refusal to let good furniture go to waste has grown into one of Taree's go-to spots for pre-loved furniture, appliances and one-off finds. Stock changes constantly, so no two visits are the same, and the removals side of the business carries Cliff's name too, as Cliffy's Cheaper Removals.

Why Buy Secondhand?
Buying pre-loved furniture is easy on your wallet and easier on the planet. Every piece we sell is one less thing in landfill, and one less new item that needs to be manufactured. Plenty of older furniture was simply built better, too.
